Photos from eastern Washington and Idaho, Shot on a 1956 Rolleiflex 2.8e

Eastern WA on a Rolleiflex

I use to live in Pullman Wa and Moscow ID. Once or twice a year I come back to visit, and of course, I bring my photo gear with me.

I visited my 2nd-grade teacher to talk about life. I learned that they recently visited Japan. They noticed that many of the people there will hang dry their clothes in front of their houses. My teacher did the same when they got back to the US. I cannot explain the amazing light and shadows that I saw, but I think the Rolleiflex captured it very well. If it helps at all, it was a warm dry morning.
